Full Spectrum Power - Pulse P2 Battery

I am happy to be introducing Full Spectrum Power Pulse P2 batteries to you guys. I personally have never heard about these batteries until early last week. Tony from Full Spectrum Power stopped by to show us their products, and I was quite impressed with them.

Pulse P2 Battery:

These Pulse P2 batteries weigh in at a stunning 1.6lbs (700 grams)! When Tony had handed a battery over to me, I was prepared to hold the weight of a rock. To my surprise, it was something I'd be able to juggle with if I knew how to juggle. The Pulse P2 will save an average of 36lbs from a stock battery. Not only is it small and weighs close to nothing; it provides nearly twice the cranking capability and offers integrated brass terminals making it a direct replacement for your stock battery with no modification or harness needed.

MSRP: $209

Battery Tie Down:

This is something you'd need to properly hold down your battery to keep it from flying around. Especially with a battery this small and light, you wouldn't want to risk damaging it.

MSRP: $38.95

Pacemaker Charger:

The life expectancy of these Pulse P2 batteries are rated for 5-6 years. With that being said, we are also selling Full Spectrum Power Pacemaker charger.

The pacemaker is the only maintenance charger specifically designed to work with lithium lightweight batteries. Pacemaker will work with Full Spectrum Power's award winning Pulse and Genesis battery systems. Pacemaker is fully automatic, ensuring that your lightweight battery is always properly charged. LED indicator lights alert you to the state of charge of your system at a glance.

MSRP: $60.95

Thanks!

Carlos's 2010 GT-R receives some cosmetic upgrades

Our good friend, Carlos, dropped off his 2010 GT-R for some cosmetic upgrades.  On the to-do list was Swift Spec R lowering springs,  Volk G12 limited edition wheels, Toyo R888's, and red Titek lugnuts.

(Picture shown above is of the Spec R prototype.  Not to be confused with the actual black Spec R springs)

TiTek lug nuts in red.

The Toyo R888's prepared for mounting.

The brand new Volk limited editions await to be mounted and balanced.

And the mounting process begins.

The new Swift Spec R/ Volk G12's/ Toyo tires look great in-conjunction with each other.  It's funny how the smallest of upgrades can make the biggest visual difference.

For any questions regarding any of the parts listed above please email Eugene (eugene@sp-power.com) or Will (willw@sp-power.com).  Thanks for looking.

APR Performance Carbon front lip install

Our local SPE650 customer checked into SP the other day. This time around it was for installation of his APR Performance carbon front lip with brake ducts. It’s a nice piece and definitely wakes up the front end of the GT-R.

Local SPE650 Install

A local '09 GT-R paid a visit to the shop to install our SPE650 package.

The SPE650 package includes the HKS drop-in filters, HKS spark plugs. The titanium tips are a nice finishing touch to the Titek titanium race exhaust.

With so many GT-R's coming and going, we have seen a large variety of different wheel setup. This particular car had a set of Volk RE30's. The Formula Silver is a lighter finish that gives a simplistic and clean look to the car. Unfortunately, this is the best picture that we have to show for it other than the opening shot.

The TiTek titanium race exhaust is installed and ready to make some rumble. It is a shame that no one can see the beauty of the exhaust, but they will for sure hear it.

The car was ready for pickup the next morning. The customer gave it a test drive and is more than thrilled at the added power. A smiling and satisfied customer is a huge fulfillment resulting from the long hours we put in here at SP Engineering.

On a side note, did anyone notice the transporter? Another fleet of cars has arrived at the shop and let's just say that they aren't the usual R35's. You'll just have to wait to see what we have in store in the upcoming weeks!

Dyno numbers proved strong.

Audi R8 in for some interior upgrades

Earlier today we had a customer stop by SP to have MAcarbon interior trim pieces installed on his Audi R8 V10.

Featured in piano black the MAcarbon interior trim adds that bit of pop the Audi R8 cabin could use.

This R8 also features a set of Avant Garde's new mono-forged F3.1 wheel. It is based off of their M310 design, but with weight saving design changes done to the spokes.

attention to detail - Ray Hofman's Mercedes SLR McLaren

Ray recently shipped us over his Mercedes SLR to have some maintenance done as well as some small upgrades.

For starters we switched out his ADV05 DEEP CONCAVE wheels with his HRE P40 wheels. A small modification was done to the center caps; powder coated black with gloss Mercedes emblem.

We also went about fabricating a custom carbon fiber steering wheel for the McLaren to give the car an even more stealth feel. The newly revised steering wheel definitely adds that extra flare to the already impressive interior.
