Recently at SP Engineering we had a 2012 Aurora Flare Blue GT-R stop by for installation of Advan RZDF wheels with Toyo's R888. He made a second visit to us where he had the following installed:
-Akrapovic evolution exhaust system
-3'' intake,
-COBB AccessPORT
-91 octane tune
The GT-R's making good power 517WHP@482TQ with the simple bolt-on's. He's now back for a few more exterior refinements. Firstly our customer came in needing some body work done to the front fascia of his GT-R so we called our guys in for assistance in that department. Also on the to-do list was installation of Swift's new SPEC-R springs for the 2012 GT-R as well as installation of TiTek carbon fiber front lip.
Our guys checking over the car before getting to work.
Sanding down and prepping the body for paint is first on the list.
After the first layer is put down the process of sanding/spraying and heat treatment take place.
After the body work was completed it was time to switch gears and swap out the stock springs with Swift SPEC-R springs.
Removal of the rear interior is needed to get the rear shocks dismounted from the car.
Installation of the shock with the new Swift Spec-R spring.
Mounting the wheels back on so we can get this show on the road.
On to installation of the front springs.
The new Spec-R springs snug in their place.
Installation of the TiTek front lip to add a fresh clean look to the 2012's front end.
And the finished product:
This Aurora flare blue pearl GT-R is ready for summer time fun whether it be at the track or just out for a cruise. For any questions regarding any of the parts installed or tuning question's please contact Eugene (eugene@sp-power.com).
